Truly Blessed


This weekend we were truly blessed.

I had a gift from a friend this weekend of a breadfruit and a local Ras gave us some Ackee, so Saturday we decided to cook a little feast.

So first off, Keith went searching for firewood...

Then we got the fire going and in went the Breadfuit...

It got a little bit hot by the fire.....

By this time the grey clouds starting to roll and Thunder was rumbling ahead so we had to hurry.

On to the Ackee....

I was quite enjoying myself, there's something about cooking outside, with the radio and rumbling clouds....

Just as the breadfruit was done...

The grey clouds got grey...er....

Then the Heavens opened...

It was time to put the Ackee on..

Equals....

We were sooooooooooooo stuffed.

We had to save the rest of the Breadfruit for breakfast.....

Breakfast....

Give thanks to the Most High, we had a two gifts this weekend and they were truly well appreciated.
